Dr. Nicole Oliver

Dr. Nicole Oliver was born and raised in the Midwest. She went to Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. Seeking a break from the weather extremes of the Midwest, she spent the first 12 years of private practice in southern California. She returned east to Tennessee in 2022 and has loved living here and working at Bluegrass Ob/Gyn! She loves caring for this growing community and feels privileged to help her patients grow their families. Additionally, she enjoys caring for women, and hopes to educate and support them through the various challenges that come during their lifetimes.

When she is not working, Dr. Oliver loves spending time with her husband and 2 school-aged children and daydreaming of having enough time to read and exercise. Life is certainly busy, but Dr. Oliver loves being able to relate to and age with her patients. Shared experiences are part of the nuance of medicine and fuel her love of this profession.

Dr. Kelly Simkins

Dr. Kelly Simkins has been a physician in Hendersonville since 2020 and has been practicing in obstetrics and gynecology since 2009. She earned her medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa and then did her residency in Chicago. She practiced in IL prior to moving to TN. She is married with 2 children.

She listens carefully to her patients and wants them to be involved in their care from the beginning. Talking through options and then making a decision together is important in her practice. Dr. Simkins enjoys practicing both obstetrics and gynecology. She has a national certification in electronic fetal monitoring and has held a certification in additional menopause training. Kelsey Cottingham is a certified physician assistant with a passion for providing comprehensive care in women’s health. After two years of practicing in family medicine, she now specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, managing a wide range of gynecological conditions, providing prenatal care and guidance, and supporting patients through every stage of life.

Originally from Williamsburg, VA, Kelsey is a proud University of Alabama alum (Roll Tide!) and earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston. She is committed to evidence-based medicine, preventative care, and empowering women through education and personalized treatment plans.
